Continuation past the term length discussed will be based on university need, performance, and/or availability of funding. **POSITION SPECIFICS**A postdoctoral scholar position is available in the Department of Pediatrics at Penn State College of Medicine in Hershey, Pennsylvania, to conduct basic and translational research in pediatric cancer. The research will focus on elucidating the molecular and cellular mechanisms that drive neuroblastoma metastasis and resistance to immunotherapy, with the goal of identifying novel therapeutic strategies for high-risk and treatment-resistant disease.The successful candidate should hold an M.D., Ph.D., or M.D./Ph.D. degree and have a strong research background in cancer biology, molecular biology, biochemistry, immunology, or a related field. Candidates with experience in tumor metastasis, tumor–immune interactions, mechanisms of therapeutic resistance, autophagy and regulated cell death, or cancer immunotherapy are particularly encouraged to apply.
