Qualifications

• Ph.D. from an accredited institution in a relevant field such as Applied/Computational Mathematics, Physics, or Optical Science.
• Experience with numerical methods for nonlinear dynamics and large-scale simulations is desirable.
• Strong programming skills and experience with scientific computing environments.

Responsibilities

• Numerical integration of large systems of nonlinear delay-differential equations.
• Modeling single-mode and multimode semiconductor laser arrays.
• Optimization and acceleration of existing simulation codes.
• Parallel computing and high-performance computing (HPC).
• GPU acceleration for large-scale simulations where appropriate.
• Development of scalable numerical algorithms for systems with many lasers and optical modes.
