Research activities may include evaluation of electric weed control, pulsed electric field technologies, precision weed management technologies, herbicide‑resistant weeds, soil health interactions, and other sustainable weed management approaches.

Additional responsibilities include presenting research findings at scientific conferences, grower meetings, industry events, and Extension programs; collaborating with multidisciplinary teams across Oregon State University and external partners; assisting with mentoring graduate and undergraduate students; coordinating research activities and field operations; and supporting stakeholder engagement efforts related to weed management, horticultural crop production, and industrial vegetation management systems.
