Job summary

The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center seeks a Post Doctoral Scholar to study molecular programs of lymphoid cells during inflammatory responses under the guidance of a scientific mentor in the Department of Microbial Infection & Immunity. You design, conduct, and evaluate research experiments and plan advanced cellular biology, molecular biology, and flow cytometry techniques.

Qualifications

• Ability to interact in a highly multidisciplinary environment.
• Experience with cellular biology, molecular biology, and/or flow cytometry research techniques and procedures desired.
• Experience with -omics techniques and analyses desired.

Responsibilities

• Design, conduct, and evaluate research experiments.
• Plan and execute advanced cellular biology, molecular biology, and flow cytometry techniques.
• Develop, adopt and implement new laboratory methods.
• Analyze data and prepare manuscripts for publication.
• Assist PI with writing and submitting grant proposals to obtain extramural funding.
