Job summary

Duke University School of Nursing's HEEAT Lab is seeking a Postdoctoral Associate to join an interdisciplinary team focused on health equity, implementation science, HIV prevention, and population health. You will conduct community-engaged research, develop an independent program of scholarship, and mentor trainees in a collaborative setting.

Qualifications

PhD or equivalent in nursing, public health, behavioral sciences, epidemiology, sociology, psychology, or a related field.
Strong scientific writing and communication skills; track record of peer-reviewed publications is a plus.
Commitment to collaborative, community-engaged research and dissemination.

Responsibilities

Conduct qualitative, quantitative, and mixed-methods research across federally funded and investigator-initiated projects.
Analyze data and prepare manuscripts for peer-reviewed journals.
Assist with NIH and foundation grant development and dissemination.
Engage with community partners, advisory councils, and stakeholders to translate findings.
Present research at scientific conferences and community events; develop dissemination products.
