University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) is seeking a Postdoctoral Scholar to join the Abdominal Imaging Lab (ICAMP) in the Radiological Sciences Department. The role focuses on developing protocols to correlate imaging with pathology, multi-omics, AI, and clinical outcomes.

The successful candidate will work with Dr. Raman and a cross-disciplinary team on independent and collaborative projects, publishing results and supporting grant proposals while training junior researchers.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. or equivalent required.
• Background in coding, computing, engineering, or biological sciences ideal.
• Prior laboratory experience preferred.
• Background in scientific writing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead independent research projects and support collaborative projects
• Author scientific publications and grant proposals
• Supervise trainees and maintain research infrastructure
• Comply with UCLA guidelines for lab safety, animal research, and human subject research
• Develop and update standard operating procedures and best practices for research projects
• Communicate findings and progress both verbally and in writing
