Job summary

The BarabásiLab at Northeastern University invites applications for Postdoctoral Research Associates in network science, nutrition, biological networks, ML/AI/DL, and science of science. Collaboration opportunities with Harvard Medical School and Brigham and Women’s Hospital may be available.

The role focuses on research in networks applied to food, art, science, and medicine, with emphasis on advancing understanding of disease, biomarkers, and drug repurposing.

Qualifications

• PhD in nutrition, bioinformatics, physics, computer science, mathematics, or statistics or related field.
• Experience in network science, bioinformatics, and ML/AI/DL preferred.
• Excellent communication and writing skills for research dissemination.

Responsibilities

• Assist with initiating, executing, and completing clinical research and experiments.
• Prepare and write research papers, presentations, grant proposals, etc.
• Assist with laboratory management and training graduate students.
