Job summary

Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science invites applications for a full-time Postdoctoral Research Associate to support a DoD-funded project on urinary proteomic biomarkers of bone adaptation and injury in military recruits.

The role focuses on developing standardized assessment protocols and leading HR-pQCT and DXA data analysis, with opportunities to contribute to study coordination, data harmonization, and dissemination of findings through manuscripts and presentations.

Qualifications

  • Doctoral degree in a relevant field and strong quantitative research experience.
  • Ability to manage and communicate rigorous research; strong writing skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead development, piloting, documentation, and implementation of SOPs.
  • Coordinate data collection and monitor protocol adherence across sites.
  • Develop reproducible imaging-workflows and data provenance.
  • Analyze HR-pQCT data with segmentation and quality control.
  • Analyze DXA data for body composition metrics; QC procedures.
  • Harmonize and preprocess multimodal datasets; maintain data dictionaries.
  • Conduct longitudinal analyses with reproducible code and validation.
  • Prepare figures, manuscripts, abstracts and progress reports.
