The Laboratory of Assistant Professor Xiaoyu T. Cai is actively recruiting a Postdoctoral Research Scholar to join our dynamic team at Stritch School of Medicine, Loyola University Chicago. Our research focuses on lung regeneration, aging, and related diseases, and we are currently investigating the following key topics:
Our research projects are translational and conducted in collaboration with scientists from Genentech Inc. and computational experts from the University of Pittsburgh. The collaboration offers an interdisciplinary environment, supported by extensive human sample resources to conduct translational research centered on human disease biology. We utilize ex vivo multicellular organoid culture models and in vivo disease modeling in mice to enhance our studies.
