Job summary

The Prevention Science Institute (PSI) at the University of Oregon invites applications for a Postdoctoral Scholar position. This 12-month appointment supports mentored research with faculty, offering opportunities to lead and contribute to manuscript development and project activities in prevention science.

Successful candidates will collaborate with diverse teams, develop individualized development plans, and advance quantitative methods and longitudinal analyses in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• PhD in a related field by start of position.
• Experience in the field of research.
• Evidence of scholarship (publications, presentations, grant submissions).
• Experience using advanced quantitative methodologies.
• Coursework and training in quantitative methods (e.g. SEM, Growth Modeling).

Responsibilities

• Engage in mentored, independent research with faculty.
• Lead and support manuscript development and project activities.
• Contribute to rigorous, reproducible scholarship in a fast-paced team.
• Provide guidance to undergraduate/graduate students as needed.
