Job summary

Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center is seeking an experienced researcher to lead and conduct advanced pulmonary imaging research using 129Xe MRI. The role includes data analysis, developing pulse sequence methods, and collaboration with faculty on independent projects.

The candidate will present findings at seminars and contribute to grant-writing and scientific publications, while mentoring research staff and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in related discipline, MD, or equivalent degree.
• Preferred: PhD in Computer Science, Physics, Biomedical Informatics, Bioinformatics, Epidemiology, Biostatistics or other similar quantitative disciplines.
• Preferred: Experience in a related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute research using 129Xe MRI, including data analysis.
• Analyze PREFUL imaging in various lung diseases.
• Develop pulse sequence programming skills.
• Grow independent research skills and discuss results with faculty.
• Present research at meetings and seminars.
• Draft and edit scientific reports and grants.
• Maintain currency in the field through education and seminars.

Education

Ph.D. in related discipline, MD, or equivalent degree
