The Zhao Lab at WashU Medicine in Saint Louis, MO, seeks a motivated Postdoctoral Research Associate to study host–microbiome–pathogen interactions and their impact on autoimmune and inflammatory diseases. Position involves grant prep, manuscript writing, experimental design, data interpretation, and adherence to ethical and lab practices within a university setting.

Position Summary

The Zhao Lab at WashU Medicine studies how interactions among hosts, commensal microorganisms, and pathogens influence the development of autoimmune and inflammatory diseases. We are particularly interested in understanding how environmental cues and the tissue microenvironment shape inflammatory responses. We are seeking a motivated Postdoctoral Research Associate to join our team. Experience with immunology and/or bioinformatics/systems biology is encouraged. Working Conditions

This position works in a laboratory environment with potential exposure to biological and chemical hazards. The individual must be physically able to wear protective equipment and to provide standard care to research animals.

Salary Range
