Job Description
A Postdoctoral Research Associate position is available in the laboratory ofDr. Yuuta Imoto in the Department of Developmental Neurobiology at St. JudeChildren’s Research Hospital.
The Imoto Lab uses a combination of advanced microscopy and artificialintelligence to investigate rapid synaptic organelle dynamics duringneurotransmission. The Fellow will design and conduct experiments aimed atidentifying molecular mechanisms by which synaptic endocytic structures removedamaged proteins in human physiology and neurodegenerative disorders.
Successful candidates will have:
The ability to independently design and execute experiments and interpretdata
Expertise in one of the following areas:
Deep learning- based microscopy image analysis
Molecular and cellular biology
Super-resolution microscopy imaging
A strong record of contributions to peer-reviewed research publications.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to preparehigh-quality manuscripts for publication
