Duties and Responsibilities

• Conduct research in the laboratory on projects in quantitative genetics and genomics.
• Develop novel methods for animal breeding and genetics.
• Perform analyses in fish data.
• Write and report research findings.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. with a strong background in cell biology, genetics, neuroscience, bioinformatics, or related fields.
• Highly motivated researcher with experience in stem cell EV research, including production, collection, purification, characterization, labeling, proteomic, lipidomic profiling, mitochondrial transfer, and role in brain inflammation (preferred).
• Knowledge of quantitative genetics, genomics, and statistical genetics.
• Proficiency in R, Unix bash scripting, and BLUPF90.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
