Duties and Responsibilities
- Conduct research in the laboratory on projects in quantitative genetics and genomics.
- Develop novel methods for animal breeding and genetics.
- Perform analyses in fish data.
- Write and report research findings.
Qualifications
- Ph.D. with a strong background in cell biology, genetics, neuroscience, bioinformatics, or related fields.
- Highly motivated researcher with experience in stem cell EV research, including production, collection, purification, characterization, labeling, proteomic, lipidomic profiling, mitochondrial transfer, and role in brain inflammation (preferred).
- Knowledge of quantitative genetics, genomics, and statistical genetics.
- Proficiency in R, Unix bash scripting, and BLUPF90.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
Physical Demands
Full-time position; physical demands are in line with typical laboratory work.
