Job summary

The BioMedical Imaging Research Lab (BiMIR) at the Advanced Imaging Research Center (AIRC), UT Southwestern Medical Center (UTSW) invites highly motivated applicants for postdoctoral research positions in the development of next-generation MRI technologies and their translation to neuroscience and clinical medicine.

Our work focuses on imaging brain structure, function, and physiology with applications to neurological disorders.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering, Physics, Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Strong programming experience in MATLAB, Python, and C/C++.
• Experience with MRI physics, imaging principles, and MRI sequence programming preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop fast, motion-robust MRI techniques and workflows.
• Advance MRI acquisition, reconstruction, and validation for neuroscience.
• Collaborate with clinicians and researchers to translate methods to clinical use.
