Job summary

The Harrison Lab at the Benaroya Research Institute (BRI) invites applications for a Postdoctoral Research Associate to study adaptive immune responses in barrier tissues. The role focuses on CD8+ T cell regulation in the gut, helminth-specific responses, and B cell autoantigen function in IBD.

Responsibilities include designing experiments, data analysis, and manuscript preparation, with potential supervision of technicians or graduate students.

Qualifications

• PhD or MD/PhD in Immunology or related field is required.
• Experience with murine models of intestinal immunity and inflammation is desired.
• Applicants with 3 years or less of postdoctoral experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize and execute experiments and perform data analysis.
• Maintain laboratory records and present results orally and in writing.
• Collaborate with staff, supervise technicians or graduate students as needed.
