Job summary

The N3AS Physics Frontier Center Fellows at UC Berkeley invite two postdoctoral Fellows to start in fall 2027. The program spans multiple institutions, with initial placement at Kentucky or Los Alamos, followed by a final year at a network site of the Fellow's choice, all under UC Berkeley.

Salaries begin at $78K with travel and relocation support and a strong collaborative environment. Candidates should have recently earned a Ph.D.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in theoretical physics or astrophysics (on or after Aug 2024).
• Ability to work productively within a diverse, collaborative research environment.

Responsibilities

• Produce and publish original research in neutrinos, nuclear astrophysics, and related areas.
• Defend research in seminars and scientific meetings.
