Job summary

MSD in Upper Gwynedd, PA, seeks a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Systems Immunology to lead a data-driven project integrating cellular immunology, transcriptomics, and computational modeling to predict optimal adjuvant combinations.

The three-year fellowship offers collaboration with internal and external partners, state-of-the-art facilities, publication opportunities, and training in vaccine bioanalytics and immune profiling.

Qualifications

• Peer-reviewed publications or presentations demonstrating scientific achievement.
• Experience with primary immune cell culture and functional assays.
• Experience characterizing immune responses with flow cytometry and cytokine assays.
• Strong data analysis and ability to work independently and collaborate across disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Design, execute, and interpret in vitro studies on adjuvant mechanisms and immune polarization.
• Develop primary immune cell co-culture models and evaluate antigen-adjuvant stimulations.
• Characterize cellular, cytokine, and transcriptional responses using flow cytometry and transcriptomics.
• Apply automation and develop predictive models of combinatorial immune responses.
• Publish findings and present at scientific conferences.
• Maintain electronic lab records and adhere to BSL-2 safety requirements.
