Job summary

The Mount Sinai Health System seeks a Postdoctoral Fellow to work on the NIH-funded ASPIRE study, focusing on adolescent cardiovascular health trajectories and maternal outcomes. Qualifications

• PhD or equivalent in a quantitative/public health field.
• Experience building agent-based or other complex simulation models.
• Strong programming skills in NetLogo, R, or Python.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Independent work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Interest in adolescent health and health equity.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement agent-based models of health trajectories.
• Translate epidemiologic and qualitative findings into model structure and rules.
• Simulate policies to evaluate school-based interventions.
• Perform calibration, validation, and uncertainty analyses.
• Document model assumptions using ODD/TRACE and ISPOR guidance.
• Maintain reproducible code and use GitHub for version control.
• Contribute to manuscripts, abstracts, and policy products.
• Collaborate with investigators and community partners to refine models.
