Salary: According to UAW/Mount Sinai agreement, effective 7/1/25 starting salary $74,692

Department: 866 – Department of Immunology and Immunotherapy

Location: 1470 Madison Ave., 5th Floor, New York, NY 10029

Responsibilities

The Merad Laboratory is seeking highly motivated postdocs to lead projects aimed at identifying pathogenic inflammatory programs shared across inflammatory and cancer diseases. Using different computational methods the postdoc will look for molecular programs that correlate with disease outcome and response to treatment.

The focus on research includes identifying shared inflammatory programs across inflammatory diseases and cancer using computational analysis of molecular and clinical data.

Goals/Outcome of the research project: Discover molecular signatures linked to disease outcomes and treatment response, identify potential biomarkers and therapeutic targets, and support the development of precision medicine approaches. Also present results in work in progress and the immunology retreat, participate in weekly lab meetings and journal clubs, as well as mentor graduate students.

Compensation

The Mount Sinai Health System (MSHS) provides salary ranges that comply with the New York City Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $72500 - $80000 annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and operational need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
