Responsibilities

Position Summary:

As a Postdoctoral Research Scientist, you will contribute to the investigation of the structure and dynamics of disease‑related proteins using single‑particle cryo‑EM, X‑ray diffraction, and molecular simulations. You will also participate in structure‑assisted drug design in collaboration with computational scientists. This role offers the opportunity to join a multidisciplinary team dedicated to advancing time‑resolved structural biology techniques to understand and manipulate the structure, function, and dynamics of drug targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Employ structural biology techniques to study and understand the structure, function, and dynamics of disease‑related proteins and protein‑ligand complexes.
  • Contribute to structure‑assisted drug design.
  • Perform molecular dynamics simulations and QM/MM calculations.
  • Publish research findings in peer‑reviewed journals and present results at national and international conferences.
  • Mentor graduate and undergraduate students.
  • Contribute to grant proposals and progress reports.

What We Offer:

  • Comprehensive training in structural biology techniques such as cryo‑EM and protein crystallization.
  • An opportunity to contribute to high‑impact research projects in the fields of neurodegenerative diseases and oncology.
  • A supportive environment for skill development and career growth.
  • Mentorship from senior lab members and access to state‑of‑the‑art research facilities.
Qualifications

How to apply:

Please submit a single PDF containing your cover letter, curriculum vitae, and a list of publications when applying for this position. In your cover letter, briefly describe your research experience, career goals, and how your expertise aligns with this position. Additionally, include contact information for at least two references.
