Qualifications

  • PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Materials Science and Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience in finite element analysis software such as Abaqus.
  • Experience in scientific computing with Python and numerical data processing.
  • Interest in crystal plasticity, microstructure-sensitive fatigue, computational damage mechanics, uncertainty quantification, or image-based model construction.
  • Experience or interest in advanced microstructural characterization techniques (e.g., synchrotron X-ray diffraction, computed tomography, EBSD, DIC).
