Job summary

The University of Notre Dame, through the Lucy Family Institute for Data and Society (LFIDS), invites applications for a Postdoctoral Fellow in human-centered AI, responsible AI, and human-AI interaction. The appointee will work closely with Dr.

Toby Li and LFIDS affiliates on designing, deploying, and studying interactive AI systems to enhance human-AI collaboration and democratize access to responsible AI empowerment technologies. Open to applicants from relevant disciplines with a Ph.D.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. or equivalent in the field of consideration.
• Strong research skills with publications in high-ranking journals or conferences.
• Experience in AI research that crosses disciplinary boundaries and engages stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, deploy, and study interactive AI systems to enhance human-AI collaboration.
• Collaborate with Dr. Toby Li and LFIDS affiliates on interdisciplinary AI research.
• Residency as a postdoctoral scholar within the Lucy Family Institute and engagement with the LFIDS community.
