Job description

Position Summary

The research group led by Dr. Yun Liang in the Department of Physiology at Michigan State University is currently accepting applications for a full‑time Postdoctoral Fellow – Fixed Term. The Liang Labs focus on understanding the molecular basis of autoimmune diseases with the goal of finding cures. We use cell biology, molecular biology, biochemistry, immunology, genomics, and animal models, collaborating closely with physician‑scientists for translational studies. We are seeking a highly motivated individual eager to advance scientific projects.

Responsibilities

Train and supervise graduate and undergraduate students in their research. Contribute to technical publications and research proposals. Publish extensively and use exceptional resources to support independent research.

Work Location & Conditions

This position is funded for one year from the date of hire with potential extensions contingent on funding renewal. The position requires in‑person presence in East Lansing, MI, and does not accommodate remote work.

Required Degree

Terminal degree in Immunology, Inflammation, or Autoimmune Diseases.

Minimum Requirements
