Job summary

The University of Pennsylvania, Perelman School of Medicine, invites applications for a Postdoctoral Fellow in Social and Psychological Wellbeing and Aging. This NIH-funded project develops SPOT, a patient-centered measure for individuals with dementia and caregivers.

The fellow will lead recruitment, data collection, analyses, and manuscript preparation in a multidisciplinary team. Ideal candidates hold a Ph.D.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. or equivalent in psychology, epidemiology, economics, demography, sociology, or related fields.
• Interest in aging, Alzheimer's disease, and dementia-related outcomes.
• Strong analytical and methodological skills (quantitative and qualitative).
• Excellent English verbal and written communication; ability to present and publish findings.

Responsibilities

• Assist with study recruitment and data collection.
• Support analyses of cross-sectional and longitudinal data.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary national and international research teams and with community stakeholders.
• Disseminate research findings at scientific conferences and stakeholder meetings.
• Draft manuscripts for scientific publication.
• Provide technical and written assistance on grants for NIH and other external funding.
