The Neurock group at the University of Minnesota is seeking a postdoctoral researcher in computational electrocatalysis. The project focuses on ab initio methods, molecular dynamics, and kinetic Monte Carlo simulations to model electrode/electrolyte interfaces and nitrate formation from N2 oxidation.

• PhD in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or closely related field.
• Proven track record of independent research and publications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct simulations to study oxidation and reduction reactions on electrode surfaces under varying potentials.
