Job summary

The Precision Nutrition Lab at Vanderbilt University Medical Center is seeking a postdoctoral fellow to advance AI and machine learning methods for integrating multi-omics and clinical data to drive precision health.

The successful candidate will focus on deep phenotyping, predictive modeling, and large-scale data integration, with strong programming in SQL, R, and Python. Opportunities exist to collaborate across Vanderbilt and contribute to manuscripts.

Qualifications

• PhD in a quantitative field (Biomedical Informatics, Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, CS, Biostatistics, or related).
• Strong programming experience in SQL, R, Python.
• Experience with high-dimensional, multi-omics or EHR data is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop and apply AI/ML methods for deep phenotyping and predictive modeling.
• Integrate multi-omics and clinical data for translational research.
• Harmonize and extract data from EHR systems; lead manuscript generation.
