Job summary

The Computational Affective and Social Cognition Lab (CASCogLab) at UT Austin invites applications for a full-time Postdoctoral Research Fellow for the 2026-27 academic year. Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Psychology, Cognitive Science, Computer Science, or a related field within 3 years.
• Experience conducting psychological experiments, data collection, and data analysis; strong statistics; programming in R and/or Python.
• Excellent written and oral communication; ability to collaborate across disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Lead research projects and manage all aspects of the research process.
• Publish manuscripts and present at conferences.
• Assist with grantsmanship and larger grant applications.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education

Ph.D. in Psychology, Cognitive Science, Computer Science, or related field received no more than three years prior to the start date
