Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine's Na Lab invites applications for a postdoctoral fellow to advance mass spectrometry-based proteomics, including LiP-MS, single-cell proteomics, and proteome-wide PTM analyses related to neurodegenerative diseases.
The role involves data analysis, method development, and collaboration with the Center for Proteomics Discovery, with salary determined by NIH guidelines and a commitment to equal opportunity employment.
The Na Lab at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine is a Systems Biology lab that combines molecular biology, analytical chemistry, and computational biology with various "Omics" technologies, including genomics, proteomics, and metabolomics, to understand signaling pathways and to identify therapeutic targets and biomarkers in neurodegenerative diseases. Na lab developed in-situ cell-type-specific proteomics method using antibody-mediated biotinylation (iCAB) and is actively further advancing the iCAB method and applying it to various biomedical studies. Dr. Na is also the Director of the Center for Proteomics Discovery (CPD), and Na lab is closely working with CPD.
The Na Lab is looking for a postdoctoral fellow who will work on various mass spectrometry-based proteomics projects such as the following:
The annual salary will be determined based on NIH guidelines. A candidate who fits our requirements will be interviewed. All employment decisions shall be consistent with the principle of equal employment opportunity, and only job-related qualifications will be required.
