Plan and conduct assigned and/or original research projects autonomously while working collaboratively with UM faculty, staff, postdocs and students. Perform basic molecular biology and cell biology techniques such as nucleic acid extraction and manipulation, PCR, RT-PCR, Western blot analysis, immunostaining, cell culture, cell transfections, cell sorting. Performs genomic data analyses resulted from next generation sequencing data. Maintains accurate records of research findings and the analysis of results. Assist in the preparation of manuscripts for publications and grant preparations. Present research findings at professional meetings.
