The Gao Lab studies the cellular mechanisms of neurodevelopmental disorders using cutting-edge proteomics, protein/genome engineering, and electrophysiological approaches. The postdoc will engage in frontier, discovery-driven research in protein phosphorylation and dynamic regulation, with a focus on an important subcellular microdomain of the neuron- the axon initial segment (AIS). The postdoc will have excellent collaboration opportunities at BCM / Texas Medical Center.
