Department Specific Functions The successful candidate will lead a project investigating the immune mechanisms involved in cardiac and vascular remodeling in heart failure. Key responsibilities and qualifications include:
Education: PhD in Molecular Biology, Immunology, Physiology or related field
Experience: Experience working with mice (especially models of cardiovascular disease, acute/chronic inflammation or cancer). Experience with mammalian cell culture, protein and RNA extraction, knock down and overexpression vector expression, flow cytometry, tissue sectioning, and immunofluorescence and strong background in immunology and/or cardiovascular and cancer biology.
