The Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Medicine (BMM), George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences (SMHS), seeks a postdoctoral associate to explore the role of age‑associated metabolic perturbations in epithelial progenitors during the development of progressive lung fibrosis. The lab employs transgenic mice, -omic technologies, and organoid models to investigate how metabolic dysfunction intersects with epigenetic reprogramming in lung injury.
Applicants must have fulfilled all requirements for the award of a PhD or equivalent qualification in a relevant field by the date of employment.
Prior background in genetics and experience applying genetic tools in model organisms is preferred.
Hiring Range: $61,008 – $64,356.
