Virginia Tech's Computer Science Department invites applications for multiple Postdoctoral Associate positions in theoretical Quantum Information Science within the Institute for Advanced Computing in the greater Washington, D.C. metro area.
The successful candidates will work on quantum computing, quantum algorithms, learning, error correction, and fault-tolerance, joining the groups of Prof. Steven Flammia and Prof. Jiaqi Leng and collaborating with researchers worldwide.
We invite applications for multiple Postdoctoral Associate positions in theoretical Quantum Information Science in the Computer Science Department of Virginia Tech at the Institute for Advanced Computing in the greater Washington, D.C. metro area.
The focus of these positions will be on quantum computing, quantum algorithms, quantum learning, quantum error correction, and quantum fault-tolerance.
The successful candidates will join the quantum information research groups of Prof. Steven Flammia and Prof. Jiaqi Leng at Virginia Tech. There will be ample opportunities for collaboration with other members of the larger group at Virginia Tech and with leading experimental and theory groups around the world.
The positions will also involve opportunities for travel to present research at conferences and collaborate with other research groups.
Postdoctoral Associates will conduct research in the above areas and disseminate results through journal publications and conference presentations.
