The Microscopy group in the X-ray Science Division of the Advanced Photon Source (APS) at Argonne National Laboratory is leading pioneering efforts in developing cutting‑edge X‑ray instrumentation and techniques to enable multimodal in‑situ investigation across physics, chemistry, life, and material sciences. We are seeking a Postdoctoral Appointee to support instrumentation development for X‑ray fluorescence tomography at beamlines 2‑ID‑E and 2‑ID‑D, focusing on bioimaging of soil aggregates, and to develop a computational framework for modeling and reconstruction of related 3‑D datasets.
Pay range: $72,879.00 – $121,465.00 (annual). The specific salary offered will be determined based on qualifications, responsibilities, and market considerations. Comprehensive benefits are part of the total rewards package.
