Job summary

Qualifications

• PhD in nuclear engineering, health physics, or a related discipline completed within the last 5 years or will have completed all degree requirements by commencement of appointment.
• Demonstrated proficiency with MCNP and publications/presentations.
• Demonstrated ability to function effectively in a team environment and professional conduct.

Responsibilities

• Support intrinsic radiation calculations for LANL Radiation Transport Applications Group (XTD-RTA).
• Collaborate with team to apply radiation transport modeling and simulation capabilities.
• Contribute to analysis, data interpretation, and reporting to DOE missions.
