Job summary

Centered Mind Counseling Services in Washington State offers a select Postdoctoral Fellowship Program designed to prepare newly licensed psychologists for independent practice. Fellows engage in evidence-based clinical work with children, teens, and adults, guided by structured supervision and didactic instruction.

Three training tracks—EMDR Therapy, Child/Family/Couples, and Psychological Assessment—provide focused caseloads and dedicated supervision, with pathways toward full licensure.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Psy.D. or Ph.D. in psychology from an accredited program.
• Eligibility for and willingness to apply for a Washington State Psychological Associate license prior to start date.
• Passion for mental health treatment planning, assessment, and client interaction.
• Methodical approach to developing and documenting client assessments, treatment plans, interventions, and responses to treatment.
• Strong commitment to clinical boundaries, client confidentiality, and professionalism.
• Collaborative nature with participation in multidisciplinary consultations and openness to feedback.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct psychotherapy services, including intake assessments, diagnosis, treatment planning, risk assessment, and documentation.
• Fellows in the Psychological Assessment Specialization conduct comprehensive evaluations and create reports with recommendations.
• Adhere to HIPAA, APA ethical guidelines, and CMCS policies and procedures.
• Participate in supervision, trainings, and consultations; maintain timely clinical documentation.
