Qualifications

• Doctoral degree required.
• U.S. citizenship or eligible status required per program eligibility.
• Citizens from Designated Countries will not be accepted unless LPR status is met.

Responsibilities

• Characterize the influence of environmental factors on biological and biosignature potential at a physiological level.
• Collect and analyze data from planetary analog environments to test hypotheses about life detection.
• Develop metabolic and physiological models to constrain rates of metabolisms and biosignature production.
