NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena invites applications for a postdoctoral researcher in planetary science to advance lunar petrology and geochemistry. The successful candidate will lead independent research, publish results, and collaborate with scientists across institutions.
Responsibilities include analyzing lunar samples, interpreting mineral chemistry and volatile data, and presenting findings at conferences.

The postdoc is expected to lead conference abstracts and associated presentations, write and contribute to peer‑reviewed publications, and design and conduct independent research that enhances the tasks above.
Typical full-time equivalent annual hiring range: $83,820 – $83,820.

Postdoc positions are awarded for a minimum of one-year periods and may be renewed up to a maximum of three years. Applicants should submit a CV, representative publications, contact information for three references, and a cover letter stating research accomplishments and interests.
