Job summary

The Center for Research on Race and Ethnicity in Society (CRRES) at Indiana University, Bloomington, invites applications for a CRRES Postdoctoral Fellowship. The program supports scholars across social sciences and humanities studying race and ethnicity, with emphasis on Criminology/Criminal Justice, Psychology, Anthropology, and related fields.

The two-year fellowship begins August 1, 2027 and ends May 31, 2029, offering a 10-month salary of $60,000 plus $3,000 yearly research support and

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in hand or expected by June 30, 2027.
• Record of scholarly publication or strong potential.
• Experience teaching at the university level.
• Ability to pursue race and ethnicity research across disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Pursue research activities in primary area; participate in seminars and host department activities.
• Teach one course per year of residency.
• Engage with CRRES and host department activities and seminars.
