Job summary

The Huang Lab at the University at Buffalo is seeking a motivated Postdoctoral Researcher to study bacteriophages that infect gut Bacteroidales and investigate mechanisms that enable these bacteria to colonize and survive in the gut environment. This role provides hands-on experience across high-throughput genomics, genetics, analytical chemistry, biochemistry, and bioinformatics.

• PhD in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Microbiology, or related field.
• Expertise in microbial genetics and functional genomics.
• Strong independence and collaborative skills.
