Qualifications

• Ph.D. in astronomy, physics, or a closely related field at the time of appointment.
• Experience and/or interest in modeling gravitational-wave or multi-messenger source populations, the cosmological evolution of black holes and galaxies, or related topics.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research on topics related to supermassive black hole astrophysics under the mentorship of Prof. Laura Blecha.
• Utilize the HiPerGator computing cluster for simulations and data analysis.
