Qualifications

• PhD in Physics, Applied Mathematics, Engineering or related field.
• Strong numerical methods background for HEDP or related systems.
• Proficiency in Fortran, C/C++, or Python.
• Strong publication record.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to obtain a DOE Q Clearance (US Citizenship typically required).

Responsibilities

• Develop and validate physics models in the xRAGE code for ICF and HEDP applications.
• Contribute to radiation-hydrodynamics and Eulerian AMR modeling packages.
• Perform code validation and detailed comparisons with experiments.
• Collaborate with experimentalists and computational scientists to publish results.
