A leading cancer research center in Houston, TX, is offering a full-time postdoctoral position focused on studying molecular mechanisms of RAS inhibition in non-small cell lung cancer. Ideal candidates will have a PhD or MD and a background in cancer biology. This role involves conducting research, publishing findings, and collaborating in a team-oriented environment. Compensation ranges from $64,000 to $76,000 with excellent benefits. Offsite work arrangements may be considered.

Qualifications

• Less than 2 years of prior postdoctoral experience.
• Background in cancer or cell and molecular biology.
• Innovative thinkers and highly motivated.

Responsabilités

• Perform basic and translational research involving molecular biology.
• Carry out in vitro assays and in vivo experiments using mouse models.
• Present findings at lab meetings and national conferences.

Connaissances

Enthusiastic and highly self-motivated

Background in cancer biology or cell and molecular biology

Experience in RAS signaling and/or targeting

Expertise in computational biology/bioinformatics

Experience with mouse models
