Job summary

UNSW, based at the Kensington Campus in Australia, seeks a Post-Doctoral Fellow to support research across the Quality Use of Medicines program. You will design, implement and evaluate qualitative and quantitative studies, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to generate evidence informing policy and practice.

The role involves coordinating research activities, coordinating with the National Drug and Alcohol Research Centre and School collaborations, and contributing to knowledge

Qualifications

• PhD in a relevant field.
• Experience conducting qualitative and quantitative research.
• Ability to design and coordinate research projects.

Responsibilities

• Conduct and coordinate research activities to high scientific and ethical standards.
• Contribute to conceptual development of research questions and study designs.
• Perform comprehensive literature reviews to identify current evidence and gaps.
• Undertake data collection, data management and analysis using statistical tools.
• Prepare scientific papers, reports and conference abstracts.
• Engage with stakeholders and support knowledge translation activities.
• Assist in preparing research grant proposals and tenders.
• Independently plan workload and manage timelines to meet milestones.
