The Postdoctoral Associate will join the BASE Lab in the Department of Social and Behavioral Sciences at NYU School of Global Public Health. The role focuses on NIH-funded and other externally funded research examining how social determinants of biological health influence immunological aging across the life course.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Lead and contribute to analyses of large epidemiologic datasets.
  • Prepare manuscripts for publication in peer-reviewed journals.
  • Assist with the development and preparation of grant proposals.
  • Mentor graduate and undergraduate students involved in research.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary investigators on NIH-funded and other externally funded research.
  • Conduct research examining how social determinants of biological health influence immunological aging across the life course.
  • Develop independent research projects that align with the mission and priorities of the BASE Lab.
  • Contribute to the overall research activities of the BASE Lab and the Department of Social and Behavioral Sciences.
