Simons Foundation's Center for Computational Biology (CCB) in New York City invites ambitious post-doctoral Flatiron Research Fellows to join the Biophysical Modeling and Genomics groups. The two-year assignments, based in Simons Foundation offices in NYC, offer opportunities to bridge AI/ML genomic modeling with mechanistic biophysical modeling.

The start is flexible, with review beginning in Fall 2026 and rolling until filled; PhD in a relevant field is required and strong cross-disciplinary

Qualifications

• Demonstrated abilities in mathematical modeling and scientific computation.
• Experience with scientific software, data analysis and inference.
• Ability to work in an interdisciplinary environment and collaborate with experimentalists.

Responsabilités

• Perform theoretical and computational research.
• Develop, implement and maintain scientific software.
• Organize seminars, workshops and meetings within CCB and Flatiron.
• Prepare manuscripts for publication and present at conferences.
• Mentor students and share expertise with staff and visitors.
