Qualifications

• Applicants must have received or will receive their doctoral degree by the beginning of their appointment; preferred within five years prior to start.
• Training and expertise in housing policy, architectural design, environmental policy, or climate policy using mixed methods.

• Translate mixed methods findings into actionable insights for developers, planners, and state policymakers; examine financing timelines, tax incentives, and code requirements shaping durability and cost.
• Explore localized demand, existing supply, climate effects, and regulation impact across Virginia localities with robust data.
