Job summary

Penn State University is seeking to fill two Postdoctoral Scholar positions in Experimental Condensed Matter Physics at the Eberly College of Science, Department of Physics.

The successful candidates will participate in Prof. Cui‑Zu Chang’s research program focusing on quantum phenomena in MBE-grown films. Candidates should have a Ph.D. in Physics and experience in MBE growth or related areas.

Positions are term appointments funded for one year with potential re-funding.

  • Experience in MBE growth, ARPES, STM/S, nanoscale device fabrication, mechanical exfoliation, or dilution electrical transport measurements.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in the research program of Prof. Cui‑Zu Chang’s group.
  • Investigate quantum phenomena in MBE‑grown films/heterostructures.
