Job summary

Los Alamos National Security LLC is seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral researcher to develop and apply advanced computational models for manufacturing processes, focusing on solidification in metals and large-scale simulation.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. candidate who has completed or is close to completing their degree within 5 years.
• Knowledge in phase-field modeling and numerical algorithms for HPC.
• Experience in scientific applications on parallel platforms.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to advanced computational models for manufacturing processes.
• Enhance phase-field models and calibrate new models with experimental data.
• Communicate technical accomplishments and fulfill deliverables.
